An English version after the first series of pictures
In this first part the Moorhen (Gallinula chloropus).
While I have a lot of patience when photographing flowers and am very persistent to try over and over again until the result meets my idea, I don't have that photographing (water) birds. On various blogs I see enviable beautiful bird photos, but till now I am not succesful in bird photography. Of course everyone has his or her own specialty and mine is "flowers". That is, and will remain so, but nevertheless ........
Two years ago, I went - don't laugh!- photographing birds in a bright red jacket. While I was still on a reasonable distance they already flew away. The camera could stay in the bag. By reading all your bird posts I now have adjusted my clothes, shuffle bit by bit closer to the birds, wait sometimes a while to let them get used to me, position myself as low as possible and wait ... ..
Last week I have been busy with "ordinary" wild ducks (Anas platyrhynchos). I still have to figure out how I want to photograph them, close or slightly further away, but for now I am not unhappy with the results. I photographed the Moorhen (Gallinula chloropus) last spring, but never published the series.
In this part the Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos).

Thanks to all my friends abroad for their spontaneous, nice comments and praising words on my last blog. Most favorite were the pictures of the sunset, especially the last one. I hope we keep in touch. Of course I will visit you on your own blog.
